The Results of My Interview in Houston....

Well Im Back From Houston Boy what a LONG ass Week this has been.. I supose your wondering what happend Well guys....*sigh*....
I GOT IT!!!!
I got the JOB!!! They hired me... Oh my god Im still in shock though seriously I dont even know how the hell I did it well actually I do but ok let me start from the beginning!
I took the train to Seattle and stayed in a hotel with my aunt I got my own room so I just chilled there.. then I got up at 2:00 am since i couldnt sleep so I got ready sinces my shuttle came at 3:30. So I get on the shuttle and Im sooo nervous... I arrive at the airport and by then My shoes were killing me really bad not good at all! so I get on the plane Super nice by the way we got to watch a movie they had little tvs that came out of the wall it was bomb!... neways I was talking to this Guy from lousiana who was really nice he told me I would make it and not to worry!
So i get off the plane in Houston oh my god It was BLAZING hot there I mean humid no breathing hot! and if that wasnt bad enough my feet swelled cause I took off my shoes so they were huge.. and I was limping to try and find the shuttle to the interview so I find one and get on.. as Im trying to not sweat to death from the heat!.. So I get there and there is about 15-18 people girls and one guy actually and we all go to the confrence room.. there is a projector screen in front of us and some paper for notes on the table so We are all talking and I meet some really nice people and of course Im the only one from idaho! everyone was from LA and texas... and the one guy was soo gay it wasnt even funny! but he was cool... (how funny though on view from the top she goes to flight school with a gay guy too!) Neways so some women comes in and tells us about the job like pay (GOOD ) Traveling(GREAT) School (training) and stuff like that.. so then she takes out resumes and says she will call us one by one... so im like so nervous I cant even think by now! Im talking to all the girls... then I get called they tell me good luck and I walk in this little room where there is a card table and two other women around it I shook there hands and sat...
They asked me Why i chose This airlines... how I feel about long shifts and traveling... if another airlines chose me would I quit.. I answered honestly and tryed my best to be me I guess... so then they wanted me to read this paper that had a announcment on it so I did my best since I hate reading in front of people.... then after they told me to wait out in the hall for their decision... so I waited I didnt know what to think..so I was talkin to this other women who also got an interview and we were talking about it and how nervous we were... so then the lady comes out of the room and walks up to me... my heart stopped.."congratulations jessica we are offering you the position!" I just went "THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!" so she took me to this room to fill out papers...so I saw alot of the girls and the guy that made it.. acutally there was only 10 people out of the 18 that were there... that made it. So then I had to take a drug test.. With two men in the girls bathroom... they had a table set up in the bathroom! I was so nervous about that im like ok thats creepy.. so I met this girl named Kathrine Oh she is just like me we were jokin all over about it! so I went and did my thang and then went back to fill out more papers... then I go get fingerprinted.. and then finally I found out I go back for school on the 27th of this month and I get to go to either new jersey or houston to live... Im not sure right now where just gotta get through school first..But im going to be living in houston for a month so thats cool!
after all that I went back on the shuttle to the airport I was there for 4 hours cause CHARLES!! bailed on me lol jk Ill see you soon you and pam! love you guys! but I just went shopping around had to change in the bathroom and the cleaning lady told me it was acutally cold in houston I laughed so hard I couldnt breathe I said cold lady cold is Idaho like 20 degrees! its like 84 degrees outside! and humid blah! So I got my mom a souviner and then took lots a pics of the airport I dont have them right now but I will post them so dont worry! then I got on the plane again and slept the whole time and got to seattle at like 2 in the morning... then I went to bed and woke up early cause we had to leave... I went to Pikes place market in seattle with my aunt I got pics of that too so dont worry you will see!
and then I got on the train at 5 pm and got home at like 3 in the morning.. so now Im home My mom is sooo excited for me I called greg he is too I have to call like everyone I know..and I thought I would tell all my friends here! YAY MEE!! 
Sorry but ya theres tons Im missing but I dont want to be on the puter all day! Dang Right bz! I missed home though but im leaving pretty soon again I cant belive I have my career now I mean my life is starting right now, do you know how long I have waited for my life to start! To long... its finally happening I am not even worried either I mean I know I can do this and the pay is Really good too! So im still in shock that now I have my Career started and my life is starting no more farting around but who else can say I travel everywhere for a living! I mean for the first time in m life Im not worried about my future.. im not worried about where Im going to live because I know I will be fine anywhere! OH MY GOD! this is sooo Great Im so excited! Oh and get this before I left I told my boss about it and get this she goes... "so what are you going to be interviewed for?" Im like "a flight attendent!" then she has this smug look on her face and smirks "Well your goin to be a first class Waitress!" and chuckles then walks away! I was sooo hurt by that remark what a fuckin Bitch! How dare her think that there is sooo much more then giving people freakin drinks and freakin nuts! I have to learn cpr and how to handle people! GOD! But they have been treating me like shit since I came back so whatever Im over it their jealous about me having my dream job! 
K i need some sleep though cause all this excitement has caused me to be fatigued! So I will continue with the Greatness and some pics! so thank you all and I hope you have a great day! Talk to you later bye!  |
